Netflix hit Squid Games has revealed its upcoming spin-off will see celebrities fight it out against members of the public in intense challenges, not unlike the hit drama series.
The spin off, titled Squid Game: The Challenge, is expected to air next year and coincide with the second series of the South Korean drama series. The original series aired in 2021 and was an instant hit with 1.65 billion hours viewed in its first 28 days – one of Netflix’s highest ever results.
The new reality style TV spin off will see celebrities competing, and some big names have already signed up for the intense competition.
