All users need to do is look for the Coming Soon row on their TV homepage or within the "New & Hot' section on the mobile app . This will display all of the films and series waiting to hit the screens. Viewers then have the option to click the Remind Me button. Once that button is pressed, a reminder will be set and users will eventually receive a notification from Netflix when it's time to hit play. The tool is nowhere near new, but it is little used. Glen Davis, a product designer working on the Streaming Discovery team at Netflix said the feature was first tested back in 2018 and launched about six months later. 'What we wanted to do is just make it very simple: If you see something that you're really interested in, tell us that you're interested in that, and we'll do the rest to help remind you when the title is actually available to watch," Davis added. Her job is to make sure Netflix subscribers find and enjoy what they're watching. The Remind Me tool does just that.
