The young boy was found malnourished, with open wounds and duct tape on his wrists and ankles. Franke and husband Kevin Franke's 10-year-old daughter was also found at Hildebrandt's home in a similar malnourished condition to her 12-year-old brother. Franke, who ran the popular YouTube channel '8 Passengers' has been charged with six counts of felony child abuse by the Washington County Attorney in Utah. Hildebrandt has been charged with the same six counts. However, they did notice some red flags when it came to the family in the last year or so. A neighbour who lived several doors down from Franke, and wished to remain anonymous, told the US Sun that there had been "a lot of speculation" about what was going on with the family over the last year. But, they said it was still a "shock" to learn she had been arrested and charged. The two children who were found malnourished and were taken to hospital were Franke's youngest and according to the neighbour they had "kind of disappeared". They said: "We haven't seen them for months, and normally, those two were riding their bikes and scooters and walking their dog around the neighbourhood almost daily.
