In upcoming episodes, Kyle and his mum Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) take centre stage as we find out what exactly happened in that barn when Al was shot – how Kyle came to be there and to pull the trigger. The boy confesses everything to his mum as the guilt of knowing that his dad is in prison to protect him becomes too much for him to deal with on his own. Natalie Ann Jamieson has now enthused that her young co-star Huey has been an absolute professional as the pair of them filmed the 'very emotional' scenes. 'We filmed it one day, just the two of us on set,' she told The Mirror. 'There was lots of crying… it was draining. There's a lot for Huey to do in that episode so I was just so proud of him.' Natalie is hoping that her involvement in this major storyline, and her character recently discovering that she's Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland)'s sister, might mean there's some security for her character. After all, there have been a lot of departures from Emmerdale recently. As well as Al, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) of course died in sad and unforgettable scenes, while the epic storm took the lives of Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele). Natalie's on-screen mum Kerry (Laura Norton) will also be leaving soon, as Laura is expecting a baby. 'We've had lots of leaving parties lately,' Natalie says.
