 Napoli boss Rudi Garcia insists Victor Osimhen remains committed to the club despite the striker threatening to take legal action against his own club. The Serie A club posted a bizarre video to TikTok seemingly mocking their own player earlier this week, despite the prominent role the Nigeria international played in securing the scudetto title last season. The video featured a clip of the striker's penalty miss from their match against Bologna last Sunday, with an odd, sped-up voice dubbed over the top. The strange social media clip comes after there appeared to be tension between Osimhen and Napoli manager Rudi Garcia during the game. The 24-year-old Nigerian striker was seen berating Garcia as he was substituted off with four minutes remaining of the goalless draw. Osimhen was back in action and back on the scoresheet last night as Napoli returned to wining ways, after which the post match focus understandably centred on the future of a player who has been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as his relationship with his manager. 'In Bologna we were all frustrated at not winning and he was even more after missing a penalty, so that can happen,' said Garcia after a thumping 4-1 victory against Udinese.
