Mykhailo Mudryk has thanked Chelsea fans for their support and insists he will prove successful despite another difficult performance for the Blues.

The Ukraine international was introduced at half-time of Sunday’s 3-1 defeat away to West Ham in place of goalscorer Carney Chukwuemeka, who was forced off with a knee injury and was later seen leaving the stadium on crutches.

But Mudryk struggled to have the same impact on the match as the teenager and only had 28 touches of the ball – the same amount as goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
