The woman explained her neighbours also like to keep their windows open all the time, so the sound travels across the street and has been irritating several other families in the area. In a post on Mumsnet, she fumed: "I live in a mid-terrace housing association house. Most people who live here are families with young kids so I'm no stranger to typical family noise. Never had a problem in the five years I've lived here. Get on with all the neighbours and never had a problem with excessive noise. "Four weeks ago a new neighbour moved in and without being dramatic she has been screaming and shouting day and night for the whole four weeks. The problem seems to be that she has every single window and door wide open and I don't think there's a lot of furniture in the house so the sound is so loud and echos out. It sounds like she's in the house with us. "It's mostly her shouting at her two kids or one of her kids screaming a high-pitched shriek nonstop. It's honestly so excessive and so much more than the normal level of noise you would expect from a family.
