A 24-year-old has revealed that she was excluded by friends at a bachelorette party because of her body hair, so she decided to get her own back with a ‘petty’ response
A woman has revealed how she took petty revenge on a friend after being excluded because she refused to shave. Having made the decision to ditch the razor for good more than a year ago, she found that, as time went on, less and less people were commenting on her choice – until she headed to the beach with a girl group.
The 24-year-old was attending a weekend-long bachelorette party which included a trip to a beach in Florida. As the girls got ready, one noticed that she hadn’t shaved and offered her a razor – which she politely refused. A short time later, the bride-to-be herself approached and told her she ‘really should shave’ before they hit the beach. Again she said no, and headed to the bathroom to clean her teeth and apply suncream.
When she came out, she discovered that the group had already headed out and left her behind. When they came back, they pretended they thought she hadn’t wanted to go and said they didn’t mean to leave her out – even though she’d told them she would be ready to go after using the bathroom.
The woman was understandably upset and it stuck with her the whole weekend. As the bachelorette celebrations came to an end, she found herself alone in the car with the bride – who once again brought up her body hair. At this point she became angry, and told her friend ‘fine’ – if she made an appointment with her waxer, she would get a Brazilian. The bride became super excited and agreed, telling her she would text all the appointment details. And that’s when the woman had a brainwave.
