My family-of-8 has to live in two separate houses

A FAMILY-of-eight have been split up by the council and are living in houses separated by a dual carriageway.

Mum Rebecca Fenner has urged the local council to reunite her family and place them in one temporary home instead of two.

The mum-of-six along with her husband Yassin Amrani were forced to move out of their privately-rented home in June – but Birmingham City Council couldn’t find a property big enough.

Living with four children aged nine, seven and twin boys aged one, Rebecca is in a one-bed home on the A45 – where they share a kitchen with two other families.

Husband Yassin, 38, and their oldest daughters, 15, and 12, are in another one-bed on the opposite side of the busy road and share with four other families.
