The chart topping singer is branching out in the world of alcohol – with a new arm of his company, named after one of his biggest hits, that will sell everything from wine to whisky
Sting is taking a step away from music to launch a new career – as an alcohol salesman.
The 71-year-old chart topping star – who is married to actress Trudie Styler – is also taking inspiration from one of his biggest hits from the 1980s to launch a brand that will sell wine, cider, spirits and more.
Sting will trade the new alcohol arm of his various businesses through his company Steerpike Limited which is listed as a company providing support activities to performing arts.
The latest venture comes after the singer – who enjoyed success as frontman of new wave rock band the Police from 1977 until their breakup in 1986 – bought a vineyard in Italy and started producing wine.
