Murder investigation launched after man stabbed to death near Waterloo Station

A murder investigation is underway after a man was stabbed to death near London’s Waterloo Station in the early hours of this morning.

Police and paramedics rushed to Lower Marsh in Lambeth, southeast London, at 2.15am on Saturday following reports of a knife attack.

They found a 32-year-old man close to a block of flats in adjoining Frazier Street.

Despite being treated at the scene before he was rushed to hospital, the man died shortly after.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
