Typing ‘what the duck?’ wasn’t an autocorrect mishap for a Cornwall mum who is best friends with a duck that hatched from a store-bought egg.
Chloe Greenwood, 35, bought a six-pack of free-range eggs from Morrisons and had a feeling one might be fertilised in August last year.
So she popped it in an incubator and out came Buddy the duckling one month later.
‘She’s absolutely wonderful – she’s one of the family,’ the former care worker from St Austell, about 10 miles south of Bodwin, said.
