Mortal Kombat 1 leaks reveal new fighters and a possible story expansion as DLC

Classic Mortal Kombat characters like Jade, Noob Saibot, and Kotal Kahn are also alleged to be included in datamined files

Mortal Kombat is no stranger to leaks, and it looks like a number of potential DLC fighters for Mortal Kombat 1 have leaked including some new guest fighters.

Mortal Kombat hasn’t had the best track record with leaks. The entire Mortal Kombat 1 roster leaked before launch, as did the contents of the first Kombat Pack DLC expansion. Now, with the game now released it looks like the contents of future Kombat Packs are out in the open thanks to dataminers. Just like Mortal Kombat 11 before it, dataminers have found a number of voice lines within the game suggesting future characters.

Mortal Kombat dataminer @thethiny posted (via IGN) that he had found evidence for a number of characters including Mortal Kombat characters like Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Cassie Cage and Jade, as well as more guest characters like Ghostface from the Scream franchise, the T-1000 from Terminator, and one that could either be Conan the Barbarian or He-Man.

While the characters themselves don’t have lines yet, the responses give away some inclusions. Twitter user @Ghostface_4_MK1 posted a number of lines which imply the character’s inclusion with Omni-Man’s lines saying “Takes more than a mask and a knife to scare me” referring to the characters appearance and “F**k movies. Nothing beats a good book” which is presumably in response to Ghostface’s iconic “what’s your favourite scary movie” line.
