Some shoppers have vowed to boycott supermarket giant Morrisons after they noticed how much a jar of coffee is being sold for in stores.
Amid the cost of living crisis and rising food prices across the country, Angela Howells-Owen was left in disbelief when she tried to buy a jar of Nescafe Gold Alta Rica from her local Morrisons.
When the shopper got to the till and was told it would cost £9 to purchase the 190g jar of coffee, Angela demanded a refund, Manchester Evening News reports.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains website, Angela said: “Popped into Morrisons yesterday to pick some coffee up (alta rica) got to the till and it scanned at £9.00.
