The official gameplay reveal for this year’s Call Of Duty has proven all the rumours true, which isn’t necessarily good news…
Activision has had its big unveil event for this year’s Call Of Duty, with the first footage of the game in action and details of the story campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies modes.
As has been the norm for the last few years, it took place within Warzone, confirming that Modern Warfare 3 will be a direct sequel to last year’s game – something which Activision claims it planned all along, but which others suggest is actually a result of it being repurposed DLC.
Considering the leakers got everything else right about the game it’s easy to assume they’re right about that too, although that’s certainly not something Activision is ever likely to admit in public.
As already confirmed, the story will involve Captain Price and Task Force 141 going up against the evil Vladimir Makarov, in a story that otherwise seems to have little in common with the original Modern Warfare 3 from 2011.
