NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Mohamed Salah says that the position he has played for the last five or six years with Liverpool will get the best out of him, although will do whatever he is asked to by his manager.
Salah scored in a 2-0 win over Napoli on Tuesday night, starting on the right flank in a 4-3-3, where he has enjoyed a huge amount of success with the Reds in recent years.
With the exit of Sadio Mane and arrival of Darwin Nunez over the summer, along with injuries to the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz and a general lack of form, Jurgen Klopp has mixed things up a bit this season and Salah has not always been in his traditional role.
The Egyptian says he will happily take up any role in the side he is given, but thinks it is clear where he has had most success at Liverpool and where he feels most comfortable to produce his best performances.
