Isobel Webster touched on Eamonn Holmes’ absence from the ceremony after the duo have worked together for nearly a year. Following his back operation a while ago, the GB News host has been in recovery. Speaking about him not being able to attend, Isobel paid a sweet tribute to him.The 62-year-old wasn’t able to join Isobel at the TV Choice Awards this year due to his recent operation.Eamonn suffered from a fall in October while he was recovering from a back operation in his home in Surrey which resulted in a second surgery taking place. On Monday evening, a wave of well-known faces and names attended the star-studded ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Updating his fans last month, Eamonn shared he had been getting steroid injections in his spine after surgeons initially decided against operating on his back after a trapped sciatic nerve left him struggling to walk. When fans asked him on Twitter when he would be returning as a regular face on TV, he said: “It might be a while I’m afraid.”
