Mirra Andreeva punched herself after losing a point at Wimbledon (Image: BBC) Wimbledon teen sensation Mirra Andreeva bizarrely punched herself out of frustration after dropping a point at the Championships. The 16-year-old defeated fellow Russian Anastasia Potapova to extend her incredible run at Wimbledon, entering the fourth round. Andreeva breezed to a 6-2 first-set triumph and seemed to be comfortably cruising into the last-16 of the women’s singles draw. However, Potapova improved and made the second set much harder for the teenager. Frustration then seemed to get the better of Andreeva as she was seen punching herself after going behind in the second set. Potapova made it 5-4, leaving Andreeva angered by her own performance. Replays showed Andreeva repeatedly punching herself after dropping the game. The teenager clearly sets herself high standards and felt she had let herself down by potentially letting the set slip away.
