Minnesota Vikings issue statement after rookie Jordan Addison caught speeding at 140mph

The Minnesota Vikings have addressed the report concerning Jordan Addison, which revealed the receiver was issued a citation for driving 85mph faster than the speed limit

The Minneesota Vikings are ‘gathering additional information’ before dealing with rookie Jordan Addison after the wide receiver was pulled over for speeding.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Addison – a first-round pick back in April – was pulled over by Minnesota State Patrol for speeding in his Lamborghini Urus. He was clocked driving 140 miles per hour in a zone where the limit was just 55mph.

According to the incident report, Addison was pulled over by State Highway Patrol shortly after 3am on Thursday morning while travelling down the I-94 in St. Paul. The trooper made a traffic stop and identified Addison as the driver.

The 21-year-old was then issued a citation for speed and reckless driving after being found heading eastbound while travelling 85mph over the speed limit. The investigation remains open.
