Seconds earlier, Coronation Street's Sue had remarked: "He sticks out like a sore thumb." Matt entered the jungle on Wednesday night alongside fellow newbie, comedian Seann Walsh. Unbeknown to the other campmates, they have both been made moles and will be carrying out secret missions. But while Seann was welcomed with open arms, Matt was not given such a warm reception from everyone. Boy George broke down in tears in the Bush Telegraph after revealing his elderly mother was ill in hospital during the pandemic. He had confided in Scarlette Douglas moments earlier, saying: 'You know, the beginning of the pandemic my mum was in hospital. I wasn't allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die. "I was tweeting Greenwich hospital going, 'Please look after my mum'. I used my name, I was like 'Please look after my mum.'
