Migos fans are remembering Takeoff with heartwarming moments from the rapper’s life and career after it was announced he has died at the age of 28.
The Bad and Boujee rapper was shot and killed outside a bowling alley in Houston on Monday, where he was enjoying a night out with his fellow Migos member and uncle Quavo.
Houston Police Department is yet to confirm the reports but a rep for the rapper confirmed the news to AP. Tributes have begun pouring in for Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, from fans and celebrities alike.
Reacting to the news, rapper AJ Tracey tweeted: ‘Not takeoff! RIP.’
Boxer Chris Eubank Jr shared a picture of himself meeting Migos, writing: ‘I remember @1YoungTakeoff being a very down to earth, cool dude. Cant believe I’m having to say this again about another young black star being killed for no reason, something really has to change in the industry, it’s sickening how easy & often people are dying. RIP Takeoff.’
