Richards and Keane had been part of Sky Sports’ punditry team for Arsenal’s match against Manchester United on Sunday from the Emirates in north London
Sky Sports pundits Micah Richards and Roy Keane were involved in a confrontation with a fan at Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United on Sunday, with police launching an investigation over an alleged assault.
Ex-England and Manchester City defender Richards was working as a studio pundit for Sky at the Emirates, alongside Keane and Theo Walcott.
Footage emerged on social media on Sunday night, appearing to show Richards speaking to a man while grabbing the front of his shirt with his two hands while a young woman looks on.
A man wearing a suit is then seen trying to separate the pair before Keane moves across and also appears to grab the male’s shirt. It is unclear when the incident took place although the former players are seen in the same clothing they wore for Sky’s Super Sunday programme.
