 Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is left in tears in Hollyoaks as she receives an update about Bobby Costello (Jayden Fox), who has been attacked in prison. Bobby, as viewers know, has been sentenced to decades behind bars for claiming the lives of three people in addition to trying to kill a fourth. The truth about his murder spree was exposed last year, with the killer being arrested and taken into custody, before being sentenced. The boy initially cut ties with mum Mercedes after he was imprisoned, but a visit from Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) left him realising that he 'needs' her after all, and thus he allowed her to come and visit. Mercedes has just about got her head around what Bobby did, with the former landlady of The Dog having since found love with Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood), but she's set to receive a heartbreaking update in upcoming scenes.
