After playing just one game since 2021, Becton has been working his way back to returning to the field for the Jets. Although, this off-season has been surrounded by uncertainty around his potential position. Becton was drafted as a left tackle by the Jets but has been confirmed by head coach Robert Saleh as the team's starting right tackle for the 2023 season. Becton has previously stated that he is a left tackle but has told reporters how he has 'put his ego aside' in order to help the team. As a right tackle, one of Becton's main jobs will be protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. And the tackle has explained why he is looking forward to being back on the field again after his lengthy injury lay-off.
