Meghan Markle’s ‘close-knit’ friendship circle are ‘protective’ of Duchess

Meghan Markle’s “close-knit circle of friends” are staying “protective” over her as she and Prince Harry navigate the next stage of their life in California. Since the end of their deal with Spotify deal last month, after just one series of Meghan’s podcast Archetypes, there have been concerns as to whether the Sussexes can stay relevant. However, it seems Meghan’s group of friends will be there to help her through, although some of her older friends seem to have dropped out of her life. Her once-close pal Jessica Mulroney is no longer so friendly with the Duchess and neither are the Beckhams, even though they were invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018. His wife Sarah Staudinger is a fashion designer whose clothes the Duchess has worn before, notably a pink linen suit she wore to an LA Lakers game earlier this year. A Hollywood agent said: “Ari and his wife are part of Meghan’s new friendship group. A source in Montecito said: “Victoria is a dynamic force. She’s someone who built a business but has also overcome adversity in her private life. She and Meghan bond on many levels. They are extremely close, they adore each other. “Victoria knows all about building a brand but also about giving back,’ the source said. ‘She’s advising Meghan on many levels.” Meghan may be harbouring political ambitions (Image: Getty) Many have speculated that Meghan may harbour ambitions to move into politics, as she is said to be building connections with the Democrats. A donor for President Biden’s party said: “There has been a lot of talk about Meghan cosying up to the east coast Kennedys.” A showbiz PR expert added: “Meghan has been uncharacteristically quiet in the public domain. But she has powerful new friends, so don’t expect the silence to last long.”
