Prince Harry will travel to the UK later this week and then on to Germany for the Invictus Games solo with Meghan Markle joining him a few days later – and it is reported there is a very good reason for that
Prince Harry will soon be off on his travels – but for the first part of his trip, he will be flying solo.
He is due to be in the UK later this week to attend the WellChild Awards on Thursday, which is on the eve of the first anniversary of his grandmother the late Queen’s death. Afterwards, he will travel on to Germany in time for the opening of the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf on Saturday, where he will make an address.
Meghan is set to join her husband but only after he has been in the UK and has travelled to mainland Europe. The trip comes just months after cruel rumours began to spread about the state of the Sussex’s marriage – and their appearance at the Invictus closing ceremony on September 16 will be their first public appearance together since May.
This has led some to question why Meghan is not joining her husband for the whole of his overseas trip. But according to The Telegraph, the reason why Meghan is joining later is quite simple and relatable – childcare arrangements. Harry and Meghan have two children, Prince Archie, who is four, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet, who are not expected to make the trip with their parents.
