Meghan Markle dealt ‘the most British snub you could imagine’ by the Royal Family

Meghan Markle celebrated her 42nd birthday yesterday, with the Duchess of Sussex seemingly snubbed by the Royal Family as they failed to send her a birthday message

Meghan Markle celebrated her birthday on Friday, with the Duchess no doubt celebrating in style in Montecito, California.

But it turns out that despite living a lavish life across the Atlantic ocean, she has been dealt the “most British snub you could imagine” by the Royal Family after they failed to publicly wish her a happy birthday on social media.

The British Royal Family have become accustomed to social media in this day and age, with their many accounts for various households within the family used to address public affairs, engagements, life events and special occasions. Every year, whenever it’s a member of the family’s birthday, their accounts will wish that person a happy birthday with a dedicated post comprising of a photograph and short message.

But Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, turned 42 yesterday and the Royal Family seemingly snubbed her when they failed to post about the mother-of-two’s milestone celebratory day. Usually members of the family will be celebrated with a post at 9am on the dot, but this year nothing has been uttered on social media for the Duchess.
