Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries completely snubbed by Primetime Emmys

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries has not been included in the Emmys shortlist, following them being dealt a huge blow by Spotify last month when their deal was not renewed

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries has been brutally snubbed in the nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards 2023.

With 25 leading categories within the realms of comedy, drama, and limited series, it’s safe to say that the Emmys are sought after and coveted gongs to scoop up – but sadly Meghan and Harry have not made the cut.

Shows eligible for the Primetime Emmys must have been broadcast in America between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023. Meghan and Harry’s docuseries, which is titled Meghan & Harry, dropped onto Netflix around the globe on December 8, 2022.

Last month it was reported that the couple’s $20 million (£15.5m) Spotify deal came to an end and it was soon said their $98 million (£76.5m) Netflix deal was “hanging in the balance” – which likely left them taken aback, so this snub will probably leave them feeling a little somber.
