ENGLAND have made history by making it to the final of the Netball World Cup, led by glamorous star Helen Housby.
The Roses will face 11-time winners Australia in today’s final at 5pm after beating defending champions New Zealand in a nail-biting 46-40 semi-final victory in Cape Town, South Africa.
Housby is the most famous among the team’s ranks, becoming an internet sensation after going viral with a TikTok dance.
She performed the dance last August at the Commonwealth Games – which are now under threat of being scrapped – and could be seen mouthing lyrics to Lizzo’s hit ‘About Damn Time’.
The 28-year-old will be facing some familiar foes in the final as she plays for the New South Wales Swifts in Australia’s Super Netball League.
