Mechanic who won £108m on EuroMillions says new life of luxury is boring

After his huge win, Neil Trotter bought a lavish new house and racing cars and quit his job, only to discover sitting and watching TV all day was “quite boring”

A man who won over £100million on the lottery has admitted his new lavish lifestyle bores him.

Neil Trotter, from Coulsdon, won the EuroMillions prize of £107.9m back in 2014.

The Camelot group, which runs the lottery, warned him not to do anything with his winnings straight away.

He did end up splashing the cash on a Grade II-listed mansion, complete with its own lake set in 400 acres of land.
