Kylian Mbappe was not paid by Paris Saint-Germain on time recently for a portion of his wages, which raise fresh questions over his future and discontent at the club
Kylian Mbappe’s dissatisfaction at Paris Saint-Germain reportedly grew recently after the club failed to pay the striker on time.
Mbappe signed a new three-year contract at the Parc des Princes earlier this year. Recent reports have claimed that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January, as his future was once again thrust into the limelight last month.
Mbappe’s eye-watering contract details were leaked as the French champions posted recorded losses of £317million for their most recent set of accounts. It is the latest problem for the striker at the Parc des Princes, as it comes amid his ongoing reported feud with attacking teammate Neymar.
Mbappe and Neymar fell out over the order of penalty-takers earlier this season in a Ligue 1 clash as the fractious relationship between the two came to light. Former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was reportedly forced to step in to separate the feuding pair and boss Christophe Galtier staged a first-team meeting in which the two were rebuked.
