MasterChef winner Kenny Tutt has been accused of failing to pay his staff at a restaurant he shut down.
Pitch is the second eaterie the 41-year-old, who won the 2018 edition of the BBC show, has closed in three months in Worthing after Bayside Social ceased trading in April.
Disgruntled workers at Pitch, which served modern and classic British food, have claimed they weren’t informed of the closure, haven’t been paid, and were told to approach liquidators to claim owed money,with some now using foodbanks to survive.
A post published on Worthing Directory’s Facebook page alleged some members of staff learned they had lost their jobs on social media and news stories and hadn’t received their salary on their most recent payday.
