Margot Robbie – who leads the cast of the upcoming film Barbie (2023), which will be released later this month – has sported looks inspired by varieties of the fashion doll whilst promoting the film
Margot Robbie graced the red carpet at Barbie’s world premiere over the weekend wearing yet another outfit that had seemingly been inspired by the iconic doll’s fashion.
The actor, 33, has been paying homage to the fashion doll – which was launched by Mattel back in 1959 – with her looks whilst promoting the upcoming film ahead of its release.
The world premiere in Los Angeles on Sunday appeared to be no different, with Margot’s dazzling gown understood to have been referencing an outfit worn by a vintage Barbie.
She seemingly took inspiration from the ‘solo in the spotlight’ Barbie, which first launched in the 1960s, for the event that was held at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall.
