Marcus Rashford is set to sign a new five-year deal at Manchester United, having reached an initial agreement over fresh terms.
Negotiations are in the final stages, with the club’s top scorer of last season reaching an agreement in principle over a new contract that would keep him at Old Trafford until 2028.
Rashford was rejuvenated under Erik ten Hag last season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions, and after interest from Europe the club have been keen to tie him down to a long-term deal.
Talks have continued for some time and while he has had lucrative options from other clubs, with Paris Saint-Germain one of the teams interested in signing him, his preference was to stay at his boyhood club.
