Manhunt for terror suspect who escaped prison dressed as chef enters second day

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

The hunt for a terror suspect accused of leaving fake bombs at a military base has entered its second day.

Daniel Abed Khalife, 21, escaped from HMP Wandsworth in London on Wednesday after clinging to the underside of a food delivery van.

He was awaiting trial for charges relating to terrorism and Official Secrets Act offences, and questions are being asked over whether he was being held at the appropriate facility, the BBC reports.

It’s thought he might be trying to leave the country, leading to extra security checks at airports and ports.
