Police discovered the gruesome scene at around 3pm on Monday after receiving a wellness check at an apartment in the Upper West Side of Manhattan on West 86th Street
Two tragic toddlers are among four family members horrifically found stabbed to death in a New York City apartment tonight, it is reported.
A one-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl were among those found dead at the property along with a 41-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. Police discovered the gruesome scene at around 3pm on Monday after receiving a wellness check at an apartment in the Upper West Side of Manhattan on West 86th Street.
A concerned person known to the family had reportedly tried to gain access to the property, before calling police. Three knives were recovered at the scene, law enforcement sources said. It is unclear if police had anyone in custody in connection with the deaths.
The man and woman had both suffered injuries to the neck while the young girl is said to have suffered injuries to the torso and the one-year-old boy suffered injuries to the body.
