The Brazilian international is heading to Turkish side Fenerbahce after five years at Old Trafford, having made over 200 appearances for the Red Devils
Manchester United have agreed a £13million deal with Fenerbahce for the transfer of Fred.
The Brazilian midfielder, 30, will head to Istanbul on Saturday to undergo his medical and put pen-to-paper on a deal that will bring his five-year stay at United to an end.
Fred has made 213 appearances, scoring 14 goals, for the club since his £52million move from Shaktar Donetsk in 2018. But he has never really been an undisputed first-choice at Old Trafford during that time, despite a spell under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer where his partnership with Scott McTominay was somewhat mockingly referred to as âMcFred’ by fans on social media.
Certainly, he has only been a bit-part player since Erik ten Hag’s arrival at the club.
