Man Utd’s ideal 20-man matchday squad if dream three signings follow Mason Mount

In an ideal world, Manchester United would have three other new signings done by the end of the transfer window. The Red Devils have already recruited Mason Mount from Chelsea , with the England international moving for a fee of £55million. And the Red Devils would love Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and Harry Kane to all follow the 24-year-old to Old Trafford. Manchester United quickly made Mount a priority target. And they eventually managed to bring the England international in, with Chelsea pocketing big money for the player in the process. United aren’t done yet, however. They know they need more reinforcements if they’re to win a first Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement a decade ago. Onana is wanted in goal, while the club would love to land two forwards with Kane and Hojlund both admired. Obviously, deals for both of those stars would be tricky to broker. But Express Sport now takes a look at how United’s 20-man matchday squad could look if they’re able to obtain all the players they want. And though Onana is poised to join, the 37-year-old could end up being understudy next term despite links to Everton and Luton.  Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka would be good defensive options for Ten Hag to call on. In midfield, the Red Devils would have Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay and Kobbie Mainoo capable of coming on and making a difference. And if Hojlund arrives then he’ll be a key player off the bench. Man Utd would still love to secure Harry Kane transfer despite obvious difficulties (Image: GETTY) United could still keep hold of Anthony Martial given a lack of interest in the player. But Jadon Sancho, Harry Maguire and Fred are all players who may be sold to raise extra funds. Alejandro Garnacho is also set to play a big role going forward after shining last term. The 19-year-old scored five goals and clocked up four assists to become an instant fan favourite at the club. Subs: Heaton, Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, Eriksen, Garnacho, Hojlund, McTominay, Martial, Mainoo.
