Tottenham star Harry Kane has been told that a potential move to Manchester United would be ‘perfect’ after his club recently dropped a hint over his future. The England captain’s contract in north London expires in 2024 and Antonio Conte’s forward does not appear close to putting pen to paper on a new deal.Kane has been linked to both Bayern Munich and Chelsea recently, and Spurs may have hinted that he may not be part of their long-term plans with their transfer targets. Enrico De Lellis claims that there is interest from the north London side in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, perhaps suggesting that they do not have hope that Kane will remain at Spurs. The Nigerian is unlikely to join as cover for Kane, as one of the most exciting strikers in Europe currently, and while Conte at times has used a two-striker system similarly to the successful formation he used at Inter Milan it has been more out of necessity, with both Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski injured. If Conte wanted to play 3-5-2 with Kane and Osimhen in the future, it would leave Son Heung-min out of the team also. Kane has previously attempted to leave the club, publicly trying to force a move to Manchester City in 2021, but former Spurs striker Darren Bent believes that the red side of the city could be his future destination.JUST IN: Man Utd owners the Glazers have Ronaldo transfer agreement Harry Kane could be set for a move to Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United.
