Manchester United winger Antony given leave of absence after assault allegations Erik ten Hag is expected to switch around his front three after falling to defeat against Arsenal last time out. Manchester United host Brighton on Saturday in a must-win game. The Red Devils were unable to overcome the Seagulls last season, losing twice in the Premier League, but with a new-look side and fresh aspirations, Ten Hag will be hoping he can get a result at Old Trafford. Goalkeeper: Onana Andre Onana is likely to keep his starting place between the sticks given his importance to Ten Hag’s system. Against Arsenal last time out, Onana’s long passing caused the Gunners real problems and the Red Devils are sure to utilise it again against Brighton as they continue their tactical evolution. Defenders: Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Martinez, Dalot Manchester United’s defence remains plagued by injuries, and so Ten Hag will be forced to go with the same back four as he did against Arsenal. Left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia remain on the sidelines while it may be too soon to rush Tottenham loanee Sergio Reguilon into the starting lineup. As a result, Diogo Dalot seems destined to fill in as a make-shift left-back once again. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has established himself as the starting right-back for the Red Devils and so will keep his place. Meanwhile, Lisandro Martinez is expected to line up next to Victor Lindelof with usual centre-back partner Rafael Varane still nursing an unknown injury. Raphael Varane remains sidelined by injury Midfielders: Eriksen, Casemiro, Fernandes New signing Sofyan Amrabat won’t be available for the game after being forced to withdraw from the Morocco squad last week due to a minor injury. Erik ten Hag won’t be able to call upon the services of Mason Mount either. The boss confirmed that Saturday would be too soon for Mount but did claim that he is close to being ready for selection. As a result, Ten Hag is likely to stick with Christian Eriksen, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes as his midfield trio.
