Marcus Rashford crashed his Rolls Royce when driving home from Manchester United ‘s win over Burnley on Saturday night. The England forward is believed to be shaken but unhurt following the collision, with footage of a beaten-up luxury car circulating on social media. Rashford started and finished the match at Turf Moor, with Bruno Fernandes’ winner sealing all three points for United. After the final whistle, the Red Devils’ squad and staff returned to their Carrington training complex before going their separate ways. On his drive home, Rashford was involved in a crash that left his car badly damaged, with video footage showing a traffic island toppled over just metres from where he subsequently pulled over onto the side of the road. Fellow United star Bruno Fernandes reportedly stopped to help out after coming across the scene of the collision, which severely dented Rashford’s Rolls Royce Black Badge Wraith, worth £700,000 . Rashford only has a matter of days to pick himself up and dust himself down before United’s Carabao Cup clash with Crystal Palace on Tuesday night. The 25-year-old was one of Erik ten Hag’s main attacking threats against the Clarets on Saturday, although it was veteran centre-back Jonny Evans who notched an impressive assist for Fernandes’ stunning volley. You bring players in. “They are new like [Sergio] Reguilon, like [Rasmus] Hojlund. And you can’t bring them slowly into the routines of the team. Now, there are many players that are in positions they are not used to playing together. Like tonight, Hannibal, who did a perfect job.”
