A man who accidentally ordered his evening takeaway for the next morning and couldn’t cancel it said he was left eating Pot Noodles.
Gordon White, from Eastleigh in Hampshire, intended to order KFC chicken for his evening meal on Monday and spent £15 on the Deliveroo app.
But the retired piano trader, 55, said he realised after making the order he had not only ordered the wrong thing, but had mistakenly set the delivery time for 11.30am the next morning.
After trying on multiple occasions to cancel the order and failing, he was left eating Pot Noodles for dinner because he had spent his last £15 before payday on the takeaway.
