Man in connection to Michael K Williams’ death sentenced to 30 months in prison

The man who sold a fatal dose of heroin and fentanyl to The Wire actor Michael K Williams has been sentenced to 30 months in prison. 

The star, who died at the age of 54, was found dead at the start of September 2021 in the living room of his penthouse, by his nephew. 

The Medical Examiner has ruled that the cause of death was acute intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl, p-fluorofentanyl, heroin and cocaine, according to TMZ. 

The actor’s death was confirmed by his rep Marianna Shafran on September 6, as she said in a statement to Metro.co.uk: ‘It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams.
