A man who almost died after he was punched to the ground has had pioneering surgery to rebuild his skull.
Braden Stromberg, 27, was violently assaulted by Kyle Stephenson and left with injuries which meant the right side of his skull had to be removed.
He made a miraculous recovery after spending 15 days in a coma – but his life was put on hold as he had to wear a helmet to protect his brain. He feared even a simple bump to the head could kill him.
