Pep Guardiola has continued adding to his Manchester City squad after winning the treble and Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes has become the club’s latest addition on deadline day
Manchester City have completed the signing of Wolves winger Matheus Nunes for £53million.
Nunes, 25, underwent a medical in Manchester yesterday and has signed a five-year deal after going on strike at Wolves to force through the move.
The Portugal international, who will wear the No.27 shirt, said: “I’m so happy to be joining Manchester City, the Champions of Europe and a club I’ve admired for a long time.
“The opportunity to work under Pep Guardiola, one of the greatest managers ever, and alongside some of the best players in the world was something I simply couldn’t turn down.
