An elderly man and woman have both died and another person remains injured following a crash in the Scottish Borders.
A 79-year-old, who was driving a red Kia Venga, and his 85-year-old female passenger died at the scene on the A697 near Lauder.
The crash took place at around 4.30pm yesterday.
A female driver who was driving a blue Kia Sportage, which was also involved in the collision, was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
