Some 71% of 2019 Conservative voters believe the minimum wage and welfare system fail to provide incomes people can live on, while 59% of the public say they will have to cut back on basics to try to afford soaring energy bills after April.
Some 62% of voters who supported the Tories three years ago believe the wealthy should pay more in tax.
