A “major incident” has been declared near the site of Everton’s new stadium as health and safety chiefs have launched a probe.
Emergency services descended on Bramley Moore Dock, Liverpool, the area of Premier League club Everton’s new stadium.
The exact nature of the incident near the construction site has not yet been confirmed but the Health and Safety Executive confirmed they were looking into it.
A spokesperson for the HSE told The Mirror: “We can confirm we have been made aware of an incident and are making enquiries.”
