Madonna had to postpone her upcoming world tour after being rushed to hospital back in June following a ‘serious bacterial infection’, but the shows have now been rescheduled
Madonna has announced the new North America dates for her Celebration Tour, after being forced to reschedule due to a terrifying medical emergency.
The Queen of Pop, 64, has confirmed the North America dates will now take place after the UK and Europe dates. The Celebration Tour will officially kick off with four sold out shows in London this October. The North American leg will begin on December 13 in New York at the Barclays Centre.
The singer made rescheduling the shows her “number one priority” after she was originally forced to postpone her performances back in June. Madonna was rushed to an intensive care unit with a “serious bacterial infection” after being found unconscious. She was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed.
