Road blocked in London after three people were stabbed in North London Three people have been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Colindale, north London.Police were called to reports of a number of males fighting in Colindale Avenue shortly after 7pm on Thursday evening.Along with paramedics, they found three men with stab wounds. Dave Smith, a 72-year-old man from Bristol, England, recently tested negative for the virus after 10 months of pain. Experts have said that the retired driving instructor’s case was the longest-ever recorded persistent infection with the virus. Smith had a high chance of catching the virus due to a compromised immune system. He says that he often coughed for ‘five hours straight non-stop’ and was bedridden for two or three months. “I was ready to give up, I said to Lyn my wife, ‘let me go, I’ve been hanging on, it’s so bad now, I’m just jelly.’ If I go in the night, don’t be surprised,” Dave Smith. Smith was successfully treated with laboratory engineered antibodies, according to the University of Bristol. A stretch of road between Junctions 6 and 7 in Surrey and the key Junction 25 in Waltham Cross were closed as police dealt with demonstrations on Monday morning.Activists also targeted other locations along the motorway circling Greater London in a call to end all new oil and gas licenses.The continued disruption comes as the Metropolitan Police announced efforts on Sunday night to arrest the ‘mastermind’ behind the plans and put an end to the disruption.
